<image:caption>#016 - Popup / Overlay Cookie popups are an interesting thing — every site can go about it a different way, and some choose to ask forgiveness rather than permission. I think choice is important, so the wording was critical here. Making sure they understand what the choice is, and providing options to learn more.</image:caption>

      <image:title>DailyUI Collection - #017 - Email Receipt (Copy)</image:title>
<image:caption>#017 - Email Receipt The email receipt prompt was challenging for me — like the credit card form, there’s a lot of information that needs to be spaced out just right. It also has different requirements based on if the order is digital or physical, or if it’s a local delivery (like for food) or coming from miles away (shipping info). If the product is handmade, there might be a note from the seller. In this case, I decided the item was not handmade, required full shipping, and most importantly, was a consumable product. This meant the 'quantity’ and ‘size’ were given more billing than perhaps a receipt from a clothing shop.</image:caption>

      <image:title>DailyUI Collection - #018 - Analytics Chart (Copy)</image:title>
<image:caption>#018 - Analytics Chart I’ve already done quite a bit of analytics charting in some of my previous projects, so I wanted to try something a little outlandish. With the rise of IoT smart homes, it’s not impossible to map out your house’s layouts using the sensors from cameras, thermostats, etc. I wanted a literal heat map to help you visualize your home from your thermostat’s point of view, and be able to zoom in and out to get granular if necessary.</image:caption>

<image:caption>#019 - Leaderboards Fun! Leaderboards have tons of applications, from health-tracking to gaming. Here, I wanted to showcase the #1 player (bragging rights!), but also show how everyone in rank 2 and onward had moved in the rankings — up or down from the previous week.</image:caption>

      <image:title>DailyUI Collection - #020 - Location Tracker (Copy)</image:title>
<image:caption>#020 - Location Tracker I use location tracking a lot with my loved ones, so I imagined an app that had one goal: To easily communicate to your significant other when you’re on your way to them, and vice versa. The biggest new features beyond Google’s sharing system is shortcut messages, as well as shortcuts to get directions directly to them or one of your local spots. I don’t normally design using the iOS toolkit, so this was a good experience.</image:caption>

<image:caption>This Harry Potter magic switch probably more fun than it is useful, but it presented its own unique challenge: At first, I had the names of the toggles switched. If it was dark, you’d want to use Lumos to make it bright, right? And then Nox to bring the darkness back. However, that would only work if they were buttons — but since it’s a toggle, it’s more clear that they label the current status.</image:caption>

      <image:title>My Work - DailyUI Challenge - #016 - Popup / Overlay</image:title>
<image:caption>Cookie popups are an interesting thing — every site can go about it a different way, and some choose to ask forgiveness rather than permission. I think choice is important, so the wording was critical here. Making sure they understand what the choice is, and providing options to learn more.</image:caption>

      <image:title>My Work - DailyUI Challenge - #017 - Email Receipt</image:title>
<image:caption>The email receipt prompt was challenging for me — like the credit card form, there’s a lot of information that needs to be spaced out just right.

      <image:title>My Work - DailyUI Challenge - #018 - Analytics Chart</image:title>
<image:caption>I’ve already done quite a bit of analytics charting in some of my previous projects, so I wanted to try something a little outlandish.

      <image:title>My Work - DailyUI Challenge - #019 - Leaderboards</image:title>
<image:caption>Fun! Leaderboards have tons of applications, from health-tracking to gaming. Here, I wanted to showcase the #1 player (bragging rights!), but also show how everyone in rank 2 and onward had moved in the rankings — up or down from the previous week.</image:caption>

      <image:title>My Work - DailyUI Challenge - #020 - Location Tracker</image:title>
<image:caption>I use location tracking a lot with my loved ones, so I imagined an app that had one goal: To easily communicate to your significant other when you’re on your way to them, and vice versa. The biggest new features beyond Google’s sharing system is shortcut messages, as well as shortcuts to get directions directly to them or one of your local spots. I don’t normally design using the iOS toolkit, so this was a good experience.</image:caption>

<image:caption>From competitive analysis, we knew that digital fitness and wellness trackers had low user retention because the effort of logging outweighs the benefits. This is because logging required a lot of work from the user and the app needed a lot of data before it became useful. So we knew Cheqin had to reduce the cost and increase the benefits to our user for the best experience.</image:caption>
